If the highway code makes those who plan to pass their license pale, in decoration, it makes us smile! With a dose of humor and a penchant for urban interiors, road signs, whether in the form of stickers, paintings or imitations make a remarkable entry into the house. Forbidden directions, priorities, arrows indicating the direction of traffic, traffic lights: with a little imagination, these road symbols which we are very familiar with could take on a whole new meaning in the decor. Imagine a sign "construction site prohibited to traffic" or "access prohibited to unauthorized persons" hanging on the door of your teenager. Difficult not to sketch a smile at the sight of this quirky message! But the other rooms of the house are also entitled to this touch of very urban humor. A sign "out of school" at the loulous, "no smoking" in the living room or "out" before crossing the threshold of the terrace are good ideas to draw. Let us not forget the foreign road signs, which are particularly pampered to evoke a trip, a city or a country that is close to our hearts. There are, for example, the yellow and black signs found along Australian roads warning of possible kangaroo passages or the Canadian signs warning of elk. Very coveted, one should not overlook the inscriptions "speed limit" (speed limit) or the traditional "one way" (one way), characteristic of American streets. And finally, the stickers in the shape of multidirectional panels indicating the largest capitals in the world (Berlin, Paris, London ...) should appeal to globetrotters ...
